Acumagnetic Therapy is similar to acupuncture and acupressure therapies but without the use of needles or the use of fingers, hands and tools. It has been adapted to the basic theory used in the art and science of Acupuncture developed by ancient Chinese over centuries of study. Chinese practitioners have developed detailed charts of meridians of life force channels. This life force, or QI (chee/chi), flows through these channels throughout the body. Twelve main meridians and eight secondary meridians make up the pathways.
The theory holds that illnesses, pain and other symptoms are intricately interwoven into these life force meridians. Interruptions in the flow of QI are a main part of the cause of physical problems. When QI is brought back in balance and the life force energy flow is restored, pain is reduced, healing begins and symptoms begin to subside.
Life Force Therapy (Acupuncture, Acupressure, Acumagnetics) is direct stimulation of the reference point(s) that correlate with time proven study. These reference points can be stimulated by needle (invasive), pressure (noninvasive possible contusions) or by magnetic flux (noninvasive, non-damaging). This stimulation of the reference points produce a release of endorphins, natures own pain reducer, at the target site.
While Acupuncture has been used not only to reduce pain but also to heal, Acupressure and Acumagnetics are designed primarily for pain management. Because Acupuncture is invasive, it stimulates the reference point intensely and can produce results quickly. Acupressure on the other hand requires longer and more frequent treatment periods and produces slower results. Acumagnetics has a very short treatment set up but requires wearing the units for a day or more at a time. Acumagnetics offer the benefit of self-administration and they are noninvasive.
Our Acumagnetic Therapy Kit includes twelve 10 mm discs and three 15 mm units.
